Racquetball Canada is proud to announce the Team Canada coaching staff for the 2011 Junior World Racquetball Championships in the Dominican Republic. The coaching staff will be Sue Swaine, Rino Langelier and Evan Pritchard.
Sue Swaine of Etobicoke, Ontario has been named head coach; Swaine has twice been on Team Canada's staff at the World Junior Racquetball Championships. Swain was a member of the 2008 and 2010 World Junior Championships coaching staff. She recently became a Level V certified Racquetball coach
Langelier of Brossard, Quebec is a long-time coach of Quebec's junior team, and will be on Canada's staff for a sixth time, which includes once as the head coach (2008).
Pritchard of Winnipeg, Manitoba has been the head coach of Manitoba's contingent at the last three Canadian Junior Championships. He was also one of Team Canada’s coaches during the 2010 World Junior Championships in Los Angeles.
Canada's junior Racquetball team will consist of 12 athletes — two males and two females from each of the following divisions: 18-and-under, 16-and-under and 14-and-under. The team will be selected from results following the 2011 Canadian Junior Racquetball Championships slated for April 25-30 in Burnaby, B.C.
The World Junior Racquetball Championships run from July 24-30, 2011, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
