Canadian Racquetball Magazine

The next issue of Canadian Racquetball will be appearing in your mailbox, at your club and on the net by the end of the month. It will include summaries of Junior and Senior Nationals, the Western Canadian Challenge, the Pan American Championships, and Racquetball Week.

World Championships

The World Championships will begin later this month in South Korea. Team Canada has high hopes following its impressive performance at the Pan American Championships, where they won all three team gold medals.

Look for results from the tournament on our web site during the tournament.

Good luck to Team Canada!

Women's Committee News

The Women's committee reports that Dorothy (Dot) Thompson is back on the scene in Newfoundland & Labrador.  She has a women's beginners group that recently finished some lessons with the better players providing coaching and officiating.  Dot approached Racquetball Canada for assistance with the wrap up and the Women's committee agreed to assist in funding this by providing pizza for both the players and the Volunteers.

Thank you Dot for organizing this and we look forward to hearing more news about your group in the future.
